Overwhelming Presents

Summer is here!!!

And so are Ate Pla and her family!!! Hooray!

Ate Pla is Elmer's elder and only sister, sort of (don't ask me to elaborate on that please). She left for the US in 2008 and this year is the first time she's coming back since. This time, she now has a husband and two cute kiddos, Haeven and Neveah. They, of course, are Nikki, Calli and Trace's cousins. And of course, it's their first time to meet each other. They're only staying for two weeks. Very short stay for being gone for five years, you might say. So they have to make the most out of it.

They have lots and lots and lots and lots of pasalubong for my family especially to Elmer and my kids - shoes and clothes and toys and chocolates and more shoes and more clothes and more toys and more chocolates. Ako ang na-overwhelm nang tunay!

These are just a few of her pasalubong for the kids.

These pairs of shoes are just some of them. There's a whole lot more that I didn't take photos of. Like I said in my Facebook post, I will definitely need more shoe racks for these. As in more na more.

Ate Pla gave me this pair plus a golden hobo bag. I so love my new pair of running shoes!!!

I was joking Elmer, bakit sa kanila at least two pairs ng shoes, sa akin one pair lang. Haha! 'Rereklamo pa eh! One is more than enough for me. As if I run nang madalas naman.

I don't have a photo of the bag. But it's so nice that I so love it.

Also, a few days ago, after having dinner at Sizzling Plate, we happened to pass by those little bi/tricycles for babies displayed at the Atrium. I thought Ate Pla and her hubby were just looking around. E 'di look around din kami. Aba'y ibinili nila si Pareng Trace ng bike!

May kwento kasi 'yan mga ateng!

Few days before they arrived, I posted this photo below sa Facebook...

...with caption - "Hiram lang 'to. Walang pang sponsor e."

It may have seemed like it but to be very honest, it was not intended to make them parinig to buy Pareng Trace a bike. I was meaning to disclaim that I had the extra money at that time to buy Pareng Trace a new bike, wanting the message to reach Muder.

When Ate Pla was already at the counter about to pay for the bike, I said, "Thank you Ate ha" to which she replied, "Okay lang, nakita ko kasi sa Facebook."

Oh-em-gee talagang talaga! I want to feel embarrassed, pero malinis ang cownscience ko. It was not really my intention. I really wanted to make paliwanag pero dahil it was not really my intention naman talaga, I thought, baka magmukha lang akong guilty. So deadmadela! ^_^

She really has been very, very generous and mabait ever since. Even before when she still didn't have much. She was very generous to me and Elmer and Nikki. Wala pa si Calli and Trace nun. Now that she's so blessed with so much, she's even more generous to my family. #hindicharowtyan!

Everything really was very, very much appreciated. Thank you for all these presents!

Saya 'no? Who doesn't love presents? That person must be crazy!

Later, Elmer and I and the kids are leaving for Batangas with them. Yes, you know who's excited!

Ciao! ♥
