Mark 4:41

Lookie who's started going to school already. Calli! She's now in Kinder 1.

Isn't she cute in her school uniform?

She goes to the school just right next to our apartment compound. But she has to walk around pa to get to the main gate of the school. Kung meron nga lang butas sa pader ng compound namin e puwede na lang siya lumusot doon para wala nang lakad-lakad. Pero sabi nga nila, walking is a form of exercise, so keri na.

And because it was Ate Nikki's "dream" for Calli and her to go to the same school, she transferred to Calli's school na din. Talk about convenience for us.

Ate Nikki naman is in Grade 4. And this school is now her 6th school to go to since Nursery. Kami na ang NPA. ^_^

They had just finished their 1st quarterly exams last week. I can't explain how nervous I was for Calli. That was her first ever exams to take in her life. Ever! Idagdag pa sa kaba ko na she was one of those in her class na pinakahuling lumabas after every exams day. Baka hindi naintindihan ang instructions. Baka naputol ang mga pencils. Baka nakalimutan ang isasagot sa oral evaluation. Etc, etc. Praning-praningan lang akish.

I didn't worry about Nikki. Relaxed lang siya. Nood-nood ng tv. Laro-laro sa labas. Games-games sa tablet. But I trusted she would do good. Mana sa akin 'yun e. 'Di naman sa pagbubuhat ng upuan 'no? May konting talino naman ako noon. Honor student ako noong school days ko. *wink, wink*

I have yet to see the results for both of them this week. Makikita ko na kung sa akin din ba nagmana si Calli. ^_^

But Calli naman gave me a little bit of confidence last week.

Me: Ate Nikki, paki-review mo nga muna si Calli ng memory verses please. Tatapusin ko lang 'tong ginagawa ko saglit. Halimbawa, 'tong Mark 4:41. Even the wind...

At sumingit itong Calli, with all confidence.

Nagkatinginan na lang kami ni Nikki tsaka natawa.

Me to Nikki: 'Di bale na pala Mahal. Alam naman na pala niya.

That's when I thought, mukhang 'di naman yata ako dapat kabahan. I will find out soon. ^_^
