Back-To-Back: Miami Heat-Boston Celtics Game 7 and Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley Boxing Fight

This year's NBA East Conference has ended with Miami Heat and Boston Celtics exciting "court battle". Heat won with 101 points against Celtics with only 88 points. Nakahabol din pala ang Heat. I was watching the game during my lunch break and only finished until the third quarter when scores were still tied at 73 points.

After Heat's victorious Game 7, the Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley boxing match came next. Everybody had been waiting for it. Couple of great individuals in the office found a link for a live video stream of the fight. (Oooh, one of the perks of being in a technical account). Those who were on the phone, not on the phone, tambay sa office, guard, maintenance, including myself,  closely watched every single one of the twelve rounds. And all of us got disappointed and freaked out by the decision. Manny Pacquiao lost. But honestly, on the latter rounds of the fight, I wasn't really feeling very confident anymore that Pacquiao would win.

This is not Coach Alfred. Trust me. ^_^

American Idol Season 11 Finale

After Joshua's embarrassing stumbling on stage, RiRi's awesome performance, JLo's deceptive lip synching, this season's contestants' funny "phonebook" number, Ace's to-me-it's-staged-for-the-show's-rating marriage proposal, Steven's growling performance, Jennifer Holiday's angry mouth and her duet with Jessica Sanchez that really gave most of us goosebumps, American Idol Season 11 had been concluded. And the winner is...

I'm Torn Between Jessica Sanchez And Phillip Phillips

I used to be 100% Jessica Sanchez fan. That's why I felt a teeny-weeny feeling of hatred (I think hatred is too strong of a word describing the feeling) towards Hollie Cavanagh when, although I didn't really see it on TV myself and was only told about it by my friend Golden who happens to be an American Idol fanatic like myself, she appeared to have smirked when Jessica was announced as one of the bottom three contestants that week. (I'm so sorry Hollie fans. Just me.)

Jessica Sanchez was really my bet although Phillip Phillips has always been one of my favorites too. Aside from the fact that she sings undoubtedly really, really, reaaally good, I feel proud that she's 50% Pinay. Note the WAS*.

As I write this, I am watching #AIonETC Phillip Phillip's first song for the night, "Beggin'" which was chosen for him by Steven Tyler to sing. I can tell that he is having a good time singing the song. There's really something about Phillip's singing, besides his voice, that's really kakakilig! (Howkei, ako na ang kinikilig!) Well, even Jennifer Lopez cannot hide it. (Kilig na kilig ang lola mo!) He has raw talent, no doubt. I think he's gonna be very, very famous soon. He is now.

I think it's his eyes and how he glances sideways at times while singing.

Like this.

And this.

And this too.

He does it as if he's teasing you. And he has a gorgeous smile. Honggwapo lang!

Remember the * at the top? I'm not sure if it's still Jessica Sanchez that I'm betting on. I'm now torn between Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips. I hope it's them I'll see perform in the finale. I guess, whoever wins between them, I'm gonna be happy.

Who's your bet?

Ciao! ♥

US TV Shows That I Love

There were a lot of American TV shows/series that I watched since I learned watching them, and some of them I still watch today. There was Prison Break, the first US TV series that I got super addicted to 'though Seasons 2 and 3 got crappy when there was athe Am,erican TV writers strike in, was that 2007 or 2008? But I think all US TV series that time were all affected. I still loved it. I thought the writers could not make the plot any more interesting and thirlling so they decided to end it in Season 4. Yeah, I know there was Smallville even way before Prison Break and pardon me because I have not watched a single episode of it until now.

Nikki's $1M Question

"The first and simplest emotion which we discover in the human mind, is curiosity." - Edmund Burke. Who the hell is Edmund Burke? Hindi ko din alam. Who cares?! Duk lan! I think this is him. Read on.

Did I already mention in my previous entries that I come to work at 3:30AM and end my shift at 12:30PM? Sometimes, I get to sleep late like 9:00-9:30PM na. Yes, that's already late for me 'no. Heller, gigising pa ako ng 2:00AM.

Okay, going back. Sometimes, I would sneak quietly into the room in the afternoon - so Calli would not notice I was gone from the living room otherwise she would run to the bed faster than I could to force me play her favorite video clip of her birthday party or jump up and down on the bed (Okay, that's another story) - to take power naps.

Yesterday was one of those times. I woke up before dinner time, around 5:30PM I guess. Nikki is usually already home from school by that time. There was Nikki and Calli in the living room and they had obviously been watching TV. As soon as I walked out the bedroom door headed to the bathroom to pee, Nikki asked me her $1M question.
