Barangay Elections 2013

Howdy?

Did you vote today? I didn't even care about this year's barangay elections. However, my father was very much involved in it. Oh no, he didn't run for any post or anything. Mega support lang siya sa kumpare niya who ran for barangay chairman post. He stayed in the voting precinct the whole day. Plus, he forced Vian and me to come and vote, and vote for his kumpare. Sort of.

'Yan ang mukhang natatae.

Who would have thought na registered pa din ako kasi I haven't voted in the past two elections. 'Kala ko 'pag ganun, kelangan nang magpa-register ulit. Although it was never in my plan to vote, dahil sa kagustuhan kong lumabas, gow kami ni Vian.

The lady who was handing out voter's slips was so sungit. I fell in line. I waited for my turn to be handed with a voter's slip. When it was my turn --

Lady: Presinto?

Me: 0119-A po.

Lady: Pangalan?

Me: Carbonell po. Carmina.

Lady: Number?

Shit. I didn't take note of the number.

Me: Uhm. Wait lang po ha.

I turned around to check for my number on the paper posted just outside the classroom door.

Lady: Neeext!

Buset! I was hoping hintayin niya lang ako nang saglit na saglit lang. Mga tatlong kembot lang naman 'yung pintuan e. Ang labas, pila ulit ako.

I was back in queue. Vian was already there, finished na siya.

Vian: 'Di ka pa tapos?

Me: Andaming onders, pinauna ko na.

Haha! Ako na ang mapagbigay. ^_^

The girl who put indelible ink on my finger was so bait. Konti lang ang nilagay niya, pinunasan pa niya. (Thanks 'teh!)

I know, I know. I could use a visit to the salon for a manicure. But sorry, I don't do manicure, pedicure lang.

My Muder has told Vian and me na 'pag nanalo daw ang manok ni Fuder, that he would become part of the "Justice".

Me: Anong Justice?

Vian: Justice League.

Ah, parang Batman pala. Haha!

Muder: Magkano naman sahod mo 'pag ganun?

Fuder: Ten thousand.

Me: Okay pala ah!

Ate Melissa, the househelp: Four hundred fifty lang!

Me: Per month?

Ate Melissa, the househelp: Oo. Justice din kasi ang biyenan ko.

Me: Tangina, kulang pang pambayad ng internet.
