Taste Buds At Work: Army Navy's Charlie Bravo Querida Mia

When Elmer and I dined at Army Navy in its Session Road branch for the first time, he had a burger while I had a burrito. Fair enough for Army Navy is well-known as a Burger+Burrito joint, right? That time, I took photos of the place, the food that we ordered and this ad table standee showcasing Army Navy's Querida Mia.

That's why I promised myself that I'd order Querida Mia next time. So when Aunt Erma invited us for a dinner at Army Navy, I fulfilled my promise. ^_^

Querida Mia's English translation is My Dear or My Beloved. In Army Navy, Querida Mia is its open-faced quesadilla topped with cheese and other savoury ingrdients. It has four flavors - Plain (P145), Baja (P165), Baja Chicken (P195) -  including its newest Charlie Bravo (Cheese and Bacon, P195).

Querida Mia: Charlie Bravo flavor

It looks exactly like a thin crust pizza except for the fact that this Querida Mia uses quesadilla wrapper as its crust.

Very generous toppings of bacon and cheese. Ahlavet!

Thin...crust. Not me. I wish. And, I did my hair some favor na. About it up next.

Pffft! Gone.

I liked it because I love cheese so much, but I didn't love it.  I wonder what happened to the "other savoury ingrdients"? Between this and a pizza of the same flavor, I'd go with the pizza.

Querida Mia, what's not to love? The price! With its being almost, but not quite, delectable taste, I don't think it was sulit at all.

Note: There may be a lot of other blogs out there that offer an extensive and more detailed review on the same topic as the above. Things I put here are just my two cents. I don't even consider this a review. Just a kwento on the experience per se. Enjoy! ^_^
