Taste Buds At Work: Bubbatealicious Caramel Milk Tea

Elmer and I frequent SM City Baguio. Whenever there's a change in it, we notice. Whenever there's a new food shop, we notice...and drool. Whenever there's a scheduled weekend sale, we know. Whenever there's rally, we know. ^_^ Well, who doesn't? Most people here in Baguio do. This is a small city, and there's only one decent mall here. Yep, SM City Baguio that is. (Howkei, this is not a paid post. I wish!)

Couple of months ago, I noticed this new stall somewhere near the food court area - Bubbatealicious Pearl Milk Tea Place. I can't tell you how much I love milk tea. I was introduced to milk tea when I was...I don't remember. A cup of water (hot or warm then just chill sa fridge later on), tea bag (Susan Baker or Lipton), brown sugar and canned evaporated milk (I prefer Carnation). Solb ang milk tea fix ko at home.

Okay, I digressed. Going back. Naturally, I got curious with this Bubbatealicious Pearl Milk Tea. It took a while, until couple of days ago, before I've tried their Caramel Milk Tea. I love tapioca pearls. In fact, I was a huge fan of Zagu Pearl Shakes until I tired myself from queuing up on its long lines every single time. Since then, I gave it up. Sourgraping na lang ako. Hindi naman healthy ang Zagu. Powder kasi ang ginagamit. Mas healthy pa ang Fruitas. Blah, blah, blah.

Bubbatealicious Caramel Milk Tea was, to me, nothing but ordinary. I think mas masarap pa ang milk tea ko sa bahay. Kulang lang ako sa shake. Stir lang kasi ginagawa ko. Plus, mine doesn't have tapioca pearls. 'Pag may tapioca pearls siguro, parang Bubbatealicious Caramel Milk Tea na din. But I must say, Bubbatealicious products are refreshing and  something new to the public, and Bubbatealicious promotes health awareness.

My Verdict: I tried it once and I guess, never again. But I have yet to try the other flavors. Malay ko naman, baka special 'yung iba. Maybe I was just not very creative with my flavor choice on my first Bubbatealicious Milk Tea experience.

Note: There may be a lot of other blogs out there that offer an extensive and more detailed review on the same topic as the above. Things I put here are just my two cents. I don't even consider this a review. Just a kwento on the experience per se. Enjoy! ^_^

Ciao! ♥

  1. I haven't tried Bubbalicious yet. And judging from your review, I think I won't be trying this one anytime soon. I'd probably still go to my favorites, Moonleaf and Gong Cha.

  2. We don't have Moonleaf or Gong Cha here. I wish we have other options in Baguio. Sad. But thank you for finding your way to my blog. ^_^
